Bahrain Mirror: The Al-Wefaq National Islamic Society issued a booklet titled "The Roundabout of Coexistence and Peace" on the anniversary of the demolition of the Pearl Roundabout by the Bahraini regime in 2011, after suppressing peaceful protesters for a month.

The booklet includes an explanation of the historical significance of the roundabout, featuring discussions between the authorities and Shia scholars to reach an understanding on the parliament and theNational Action Charter. It also highlights its modern significance through the peaceful movement that began in February 2011 to demand reforms in the governing system, turning the roundabout into a national forum that witnessed political, social, cultural, and literary activities.

The booklet addresses the regime's suppression of protesters and its massacres against them, the declaration of a state of emergency in the country, and then the demolition of the roundabout by the regime to "rid itself of a bad memory", and the crimes of the Peninsula Shield forces against Bahrainis.

It also discusses the documentary "What is Hidden is Greater," aired by Al Jazeera about the crackdown on protesters at the roundabout, as well as excerpts from emails of former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and former Assistant Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman regarding the movement in Bahrain.

The booklet includes excerpts from articles by foreign journalists discussing the symbolism of the roundabout, and Al-Wefaq dedicated its final pages to a glossary explaining the meaning of words commonly used during the protest period.
